After 5 years combined of working in and training peer support workers, Jeff (that’s me) had nothing to show for it.
Just kidding! But something felt like it was left on the table.
Understanding that approximately 57% to 71% of internet users seeking mental health information turn to the internet first as a resource, Jeff set his sights on creating peer support and mental wellness content via videos, blogs, and interviews — to not only share what he knows, but to provide free mental health support for anyone who needs it.
Jeff had the expertise. He had the heart. What he didn’t have was an email list — and in the world of digital content, that’s basically like opening a restaurant with no chairs.
So we got to work.
We ran targeted Meta ads driving traffic to a lead generation page offering Jeff’s Overthinking Guide — a free mini-system designed for the exact audience Jeff had been serving for years.
Turns out, people who overthink things really like free systems for stopping that.
Go figure...
The offer was genuine. The audience was warm. And Jeff’s content did what good content always does: it connected.
We handled the ads. Jeff handled being Jeff. Nobody had to pretend. Which is a weird sentence because Jeff is also the founder of It's Digital...

Which, for context, the industry average is around 2–5%.

While the ads are still running and the email list is still growing, Jeff has also landed several corporate speaking gigs and created his second guide - The ADHDer's Guide To Managing Burnout.
If you know, you know.
