Coming Home To Self

Make Menstruation Fun Again!

If there's one thing we understand, it's advertising.
If there's one thing we don't understand, it's menstrual health.

Meet Hannah Marie — a trauma-informed Registered Social Worker, art therapist, and menstrual coach (qualifying) on a mission to make women's menstrual health a conversation people actually want to have.

The catch?

Menstrual health is one of the most googled, least talked about topics on the planet. It's been treated like a secret for so long that most people would rather suffer in silence than admit they have a uterus on a Tuesday.

Hannah wanted to change that. So she came to us.

How We Did It:

Hannah had the expertise. She had the heart. What she didn't have was the time (or the lighting setup) to shoot, edit, write, and strategize her way into the feeds of the women she's trying to reach.

So we got to work for a 6-month (and counting) run of organic social content built around one big idea: if you can't make menstrual health comfortable, at least make it funny.

Witty, warm, occasionally weird — the videos were designed to disarm. To get people to stop scrolling, laugh, share with a friend, and then quietly think "wait, actually, that's me." Awareness without the awkward.

We brought the cameras and the calendar. Hannah brought Hannah. Which, as it turns out, is the whole point.

Results:

Hannah is now laying the groundwork for her women's menstrual health clinic — with an audience that's already warmed up, tuned in, and (importantly) no longer pretending periods don't exist.

Awareness, achieved. Taboo, slightly less taboo.
